She Starts Sharing Her Juiciest Money-Making Secrets With You – For Free.”
Hi.. My name is Kim Standerline and I’ve been an Internet Marketer since 2002. In that time I’ve picked up a number of tricks and ideas etc and can safely say I can navigate my way around the Internet very successfully. I’ve learned a great deal throughout my travels online, and made a great deal of money with my membership sites and other products etc.
A bit about me and why I retired from the IM world…
I’m actually a nurse by profession here in the UK, and despite my online success I’ve always maintained my offline job, (I didn’t want to fire my boss as so many others want to do). I enjoy my nursing job and get a great deal of satisfaction from it.
I started marketing online back in 2002 and launched my very successful health related membership sites Niche Health Products & Niche Health Articles in 2005.
The year 2007 saw the launch in collaberation with Anthony Hull of EasyMemberPro our very successful membership software which we designed for newbie marketers. I also ran a membership site for Newbie marketers over at www.newbie-network.com plus I was helping to run a hosting company and several other successful sites. At one point I was employing 5 people to help me run my online business, but put the two lifestyles together, and it was very stressful. The money was rolling in, but I was totally exhausted.
I had an ephipany a couple of years ago and realised that life was passing me by whilst I was sitting in front of a computer day after day slogging my guts out. I was burning the candle at both ends and damaging my health badly in the process. Yes I was making a huge amount of money from the Internet, but what was the point if I was too dead to spend it, plus my family life was suffering. It had got to the stage where I barely saw my my husband, daughter or my two delightful grandchildren.
I was also conscious of the fact that so many folks were depending on me for making a living, and to be honest being responsible for the livelihood of numerous people weighed heavily on me. (It’s not what I got into IM for). I felt as though I was on a treadmill which I couldn’t get off. It was a horrible feeling and it got to the stage where I couldn’t sleep at nights because I was worrying about employees who lived thousands of miles from me!!
So I decided to jump off that particular treadmill back in March 2009, sold EMP back to Anthony, had an offer I couldn’t refuse for my health membership sites and handed over the full reigns of running the hosting company to my associate Mike.
A lot of people thought I had gone bonkers at the time, after all I was very successful and it appeared that I was throwing it all away. But all I felt at the time was an overwhelming sense of relief and I can honestly say I haven’t regretted the decisions I made one bit. Spending quality time with my small grandchildren for instance has been a joy I would have hated to miss.
But to be honest after taking 2009 and much of 2010 off and thoroughly enjoying it in the process, I became twitchy, realised I missed life online, plus I had to admit I was getting a tad bored, (especially in the Winter months) so I decided to come back online albeit on a part time basis.
I’m not the same person I used to be though. I’ve changed much of my business model since I came back online because I’m determined I’m not going to make the same mistakes as I did previously. I still get a buzz from making money (who doesn’t), but it doesn’t now rule my life.
In fact money never ever really ruled why I went online, which is probably why I was able to walk away so easily. I’ve always been lucky from a financial point of view. We’re certainly not mega rich or anything, but we’re comfortably off. (I’ve been very blessed). I started in IM because I was bored at the time and needed a challenge, I’ve also got a very entrepreneurial spirit and found that IM fed it.
We’ll still be shooting out the odd software/script type product, (I have an awesome business partner who can program code like nobody’s business), but otherwise I’ve decided to concentrate more on affiliate marketing and using my skills to enter the ghostwriting niche. I’ll be predominantly writing for the health niche, but as a writer and Internet marketer, I can write on just about anything.
I’m also exploring other avenues of online revenue to venture into that will give me a recurring income without having to burn myself out to maintain it. Life online is becoming both interesting and exciting again just as it was when I first set out.
So what is the Kimspirations Newsletter…
For a start there is no bribe to encourage you to join up! Nothing for you to download and fill up your hard drive, because what you see is what you get. If you need to be bribed to join, then you probably don’t want to be here anyway…
I’ll be sending the newsletter out to you on a weekly (ish) basis. I may just send you out the odd extra email if something interesting comes up that I think you ought to know about, but I don’t do pitchfests. You won’t get a barrage of emails from me begging you to buy the latest online gizmo or product. It may not be the way many Marketer’s do it, but then I’m not like most marketers. I hate being pitched to, and I refuse to do it to those people kind enough to be interested in what I have to say. If I do a review, then its because I’ve used that particular product, I like it and I think other people will as well.
So yes I’ll recommend products to you occasionally using an affiliate link if I think it’s worthy of comment, (after all I’m a marketer at heart), however I never ever recommend anything unless I think it’s good enough for you to buy. I’m conscious of the fact that there isn’t a great deal of money out there at the moment for many people, so value for money as far as I’m concerned is very important.
Having said that you may not hear from me for several weeks at a time if I get busy with my offline life because I take a lot of vacations (especially in the summer months). We bought a caravan a couple of years ago and we like to take the grandkids to the seaside whenever we can.
By reading my weekly observations on life and Internet Marketing in general, I’m hoping to help you enable yourself to become more confident both in yourself and your business. I also want to make you smile occasionally upon the journey. (Because IM should be fun as well as profitable)!!
In fact we’ll be covering a whole host of issues. because I have an opinion on just about everything
So… if you want an excuse to make a cup of your favorite beverage, put your feet up and have a little chuckle then just sign up on your right,
I’m looking forward to meeting you all
Kim
P.S
If you want to join me on Facebook then my link is on your left up at the top. I love facebook, its a really cool way to interact with everyone. Be warned though, I don’t use FB for marketing and don’t appreciate anyone using my friendship to market to me on a continual basis. I will block anyone who abuses my trust…
