Turning Regret Into Hope…

It’s super to be feeling much more myself again, and if you’re wondering what I’m talking about, please read my blog post here  I feel much better for getting back into my usual lifestyle, it’s been a bit of a haul, but I’m definitely getting there.

A quick thank you BTW to everyone who responded to my blog post with not only replies on the blog, but also the encouraging emails I was sent. I was very touched to realise I have so many friends out there, isn’t the Internet a wonderful place.

Anyway please keep your eye on KimSpirations from now on. Now I’ve finally got myself back into gear, I’m going to be adding a lot of useful info on here on the useful/free page; I’ve already added a heap of helpful links on there and more to come…

I’m smiling to myself at the moment, I’ve had my two grandchildren aged 5 and 4 staying with me for the weekend, and we were all on computers earlier today.

Adam was on my new desktop that I haven’t moved over to yet, I was sat at my old desktop and Jessica was busy on the Barbie site on my laptop. (Kept em quiet on a cold and miserable afternoon)…

My daughter walked in on us all and said it was like walking into a call centre lol.

What impresses me more though is how a 4 year old child can whizz her way round a site using a mouse very competently. I wouldn’t mind, but she keeps printing a load of pink Barbie stuff off on my wi fi printer, I’ll have no ink or paper left at the rate she’s going…

Kimspirations Sunday Offer

Have you heard yet about the new Ipad Apple is releasing at the end of April 2010? If you haven’t, then I’m very surprised because they’ve been involved in some very clever marketing. I’m certainly interested in buying one, and to be honest I’ve got my name down on the pre-notification list on Amazon already.

For all you marketer’s out there, have you realised there is a perfect opportunity to make yourself some affiliate money from the Ipad? And with the launch still a few months away, plenty of time to get some affiliate blogs up and sorted.

With this in mind, A colleague and I have put together what we think is an excellent offer. (Been working on it all weekend), Check it out here Its  An excellent chance to throw together a couple of iPad affiliate sites for very little outlay…

Sunday Inspiration

I want to talk about regret, because one of the most damaging and detrimental feelings we can have as human beings is that of regret.

As many readers will know, I lost my beloved sister Kerry last November very suddenly at the age of 50.

I’ve spent much of the time until the last 2-3 weeks in a deep dark place,  full of regrets that I didn’t tell her often enough how much I appreciated and loved her and how proud I was of her.

But you know what; I had an epiphany a couple of weeks ago. It finally dawned on me that she KNEW I loved and appreciated her anyway. She definitely knew I was proud of her, because I showed it in so many ways. We spent a lot of time together, and looking back, I know we showed each other every day how much we loved each other.

Yes we can feel bad about lots of things, we can even bemoan our lot once in a while if it makes us feel any better, especially about the things that we’ve done or we wish we hadn’t. Or even the things that we haven’t done that we wish we had. But there comes a time when we have to turn a particular regret into a target. I’ve made a conscious decision to turn mine around and I’m feeling much better already. (A lot more positive).

As long as we hold on to those regrets, and this can include just about anything in our lives, then we are grabbing the end of an anchor with a very firm grip. Regrets can only serve to hold us in place as our focus is forced to be backwards onto things we can’t change, rather than forwards onto the things we can still influence.

If you have regrets, then move on, move up and move forward.

Learn from your experiences, but for goodness sake – and for your own sake – let go of that anchor of regret, (You won’t regret it)

On that note, I’m going to sign off..
