If you use the tweet button towards your right, you may well notice that I hardly have any followers. (At the time of writing, it’s zilch)…
Don’t be concerned for me, I haven’t suddenly turned into a Billy No Mates, it’s just a new account I’ve opened so I can test something out…
A very good IM friend of mine sent out an email the other day extolling the virtues of a new service that has been set up called Twittollower He’d joined up opened a new account at twitter (following instructions), and within a couple of days had gotten a thousand followers. (Very Cool). he also made a number of sales which he has attributed to this new account.
So in the interests of my readers and subscribers, I’ve decided to do the same. (And yes I shelled the cash out to join up)…
Instead of linking to my Kim Standerline twitter account, I’ve opened a new account called Kimspirations, at the moment the time is 13.06 (UK time) on the 11th Feb 2010. Let’s see if this really works lol

Update It’s now 15.28 and I’m now up to 23 followers
- 17.13 and 36 followers
- 20.25 and 49 followers
I also tweeted a link to one of my sales packages, and made a sale ($24.97), but to be honest I can’t say with hand on heart that is where it came from
- 23.22 and 62 followers
14th January and it’s nearly 10pm and I’m up to 370 followers.
I’ve made a few tweets, (maybe not as many as I should), but hey it’s been the weekend and my husband started moaning because he thought I had become glued to the computer.
The jury is still out on Twittollower because I need to do some more testing. Yeah the 300+ followers are cool, but not much good if I can’t monetise them. I’ll carry on with my experiment for the next week making sure I get lots of tweets in.
